Africa’s Youngest Philanthropist, Marcus Love Anafu has been awarded with the Ambassador for Peace laurel. The young Ghanaian US soldier about whom news broke recently for making Ghana proud through music and philanthropy in the States is soon to hit the screens with his appearance in the popular American TV series titled Hawaii Five-O. The TV series which started in 2010 and have a total of about a 1908 series casts will see the young Ghanaian joining in the 9th season as a police trainee in the Police Academy who is learning what it takes to be a police officer. The season is set to be released in September 2018.
About the Movie
Created by Peter M. Lenkov, Leonard Freeman and Alex Kurtzman, Hawaii Five-O is an American action police procedural television series that premiered on Monday, September 20, 2010, on CBS. The series is the re-imagining of the original series which aired on CBS from 1968 to 1980. Like the original series, the show follows an elite state police task force set up to fight major crimes in the state of Hawaii. The task force answers only to the call of the Governor of the state of Hawaii and is given full immunity and means. The team investigates crimes ranging from terrorism to kidnapping, as well as murder and robberies. The show which won the Favorite New TV Drama at the 37th People’s Choice Awards in 2011 won several other awards over the years. The show was also in the Guinness World Records 2012 for the “Highest-Rated New Show In The U.S” with a record of 19.34 million viewers for its January 23, 2011 episode, Kai e’e. The show had a massive positive effect on Hawaii’s economy as businesses that were featured in the episodes saw rise in sales and there was an increase in visits to Hawaii site by tourists as based on viewing the series.

Solomon Ennin is a young Ghanaian U.S soldier who was born in Tarkwa in the Western Region of Ghana. He is an inspirational speaker, a preacher and a musician. After successful premiere of her new movie, “Potato Potahto” which received a massive turnout in South Africa, Nigeria and Ghana, the Zuly land seems not to get enough of the Ghanaian screen goddess.
In an instagram post, the actress and TV personality Joselyn Dumas shared screenshots of her been featured in 2 of South Africa’s famous magazines.
The Durban based Sowetan Newspaper delved into how Miss Dumas is gradually warming her way into the South African Market. It talked about her interview with Lesley Mofokeng, News Editor/writer of the newspaper about how much she loves the Durban City and showed appreciation of the hospitality showed to her by fans and lovers of her craft. In the article, Joselyn Dumas also talked about the premiere of Potato Potahto in South Africa & her new talk show “Keeping It Real with Joselyn Dumas”, as well as her TINFF Award for Best Actress Africa for her role in Potato Potahto.
As If that is not enough, Johannesburg’s Saturday Live newspaper also went to put a chat she had with the paper’s Liam Karabo Joyce about her strides and decision to add up movie production aside her acting and TV presentation. Twenty One C Events to Provide Memorable Enjoyment with History Making “In-Glow Party”
Twenty One C (21C) Event House collaborates with Mac-Dic Royal Plaza to organize the maiden edition of a party experience dubbed In-Glow Party. Twenty One C is an event house which is aimed at bringing quality entertainment to the youth. They believe to live a balanced life, there has to be exhilirating fun as you work hard. Hence, they organized Aced House Party in 2016 at Ages Lodge in Koforidua, and the event was an eyesaw.
This time, they’ve joined forces with Mac-Dic Royal Plaza, a 3-star deluxe and one stop facility is located in Koforidua, 80km drive from Accra, spefically found at Korle Medical Staff Village. In an exclusive interview with the major organizer of the event who is also the CEO of Twenty One C Event House, Alan Rahim disclosed that the event is meant to serve as a welcome party for all freshers and continuing students of all tertiary institutions, especially the ones located in Eastern region. It shall also be a wild experience for all students in general as it will be a huge platform for socialization. He also added that the concept of the event is the use of ultraviolet and neon lights to cause ultra-illumination, hence the name “In-Glow Party.”
