The hottest Hip-Hop kid on the block is arguably Kwesi Arthur. After landing two hit singles, the streets have been searching another anthem from the Tema rapper. And yes, unexpectedly, he again doesn’t disappoint, rapping and singing on “No Title” which was produced by Yung Nyame and post-production handled by Kayso. The Ground Up Chale native is now stacking paper, and he assures his people that “all this money no go change a man.”
My favourite side of Flowking Stone as an artiste is when he makes music about love. On this track that features the 2018 VGMA Female Vocalist, Adina, he proves this point again. “One Love” produced by Dr Ray is a mid-temp Afropop song which sees Flowking rhyming bars containing similes, humor and what have you, as Adina slays the chorus like none other. Good music has come to stay.
“Yaw LeVelz is ready for stardom.” That’s the first thing I said when I heard “Nobody.” After solidifying his mark in the Hip-Hop community, Yaw LeVelz is here to appeal to the ladies. Upon seeing the artwork and collaborators on the song I predicted a complete rap song. Only for me to be surprised with LJ’s well sung hook, which captivates the listener. In 2 verses, Yaw LeVelz details what falling in love does to him. His flow is on point, and his lyrics are a must-listen. “Nobody” is an instant jam with the lovely, groovy and modern instrumental accompanying it, produced by Phredxter. Enjoy!

Mr Eazi recently released 2 singles off his upcoming sophomore to the Life is Eazi series. One of them featured UK Grime artiste, Giggs. AFROLEKTRA upon hearing the song got inspired and immediately added some refreshing elements to it, to make it into his own remix. AFROLEKTRA enriched this piece with Afro-EDM elements, making it a whole new experience.
Jay Buzzles is a Kumasi-based artiste. The musician has spent half a decade doing music, and through his journey, he has experienced a lot. At a point in his life, some of his best friends left him alone, just because they got money. The single, “Dawgi Obiaa” which means “forget everybody” discusses that and advises all to do your thing & forget everybody. The Afropop song was instrumentally produced by Itz CJ, whilst Apya handled post-production.
Kofi Lil a.k.a The KOB (King of Bars), a rap music artiste from Tema and a representative of The Rapnetics Family who was an award nominee for Best Hip-Hop Artiste of the Year 2015 at the Ghana Underground Music Awards drops a mid-tempo Hip-Hop/R&B record which is about how a girl drives a guy crazy with the way she carries herself well. He recruits DAY, Fayorsey, Qweku Dee & Marcus for the song he calls “Someway.” Ice Beat is the name behind the instrumental, as Qweccy Plus handed post-production.
The phenomenal Maadwoa has taken the lead to celebrate mothers across the world as Mother’s Day approaches by treating us to a very beautiful, colourful tune.
The sweet jazzy debut single titled ‘I Love You Mama’ seeks to celebrate and appreciate mothers in a very special way, on this very wonderful day set aside for mothers. This is what she had to say;
“Mama’s love is unconditional. It is bigger, stronger and stands the test of time. Mama always looks out for my best interest. Mama is the same everywhere and same to everyone. That’s why Mama needs to hear this song. My Mama, your Mama, Our Mama. I Love You Mama.”
Maadwoa has endeared to herself numerous fans through her stunning vocals and impeccable song writing abilities.
