In 2016, one of the greatest rappers to ever walk in the streets of Ghana dropped a full length titled “Gifted.” The “Blow My Mind” hitmaker decides to follow up with a sequel “Gifted II” to complete the mission of exhibiting the talent he has been blessed with.

Flowking Stone disclosed to your favourite online platform for entertainment, lifestyle and health, SteezeHub.com that the album title is derived from the fact that he is gifted, and in return, he wants to give this gift back to his fans, listeners and the world at large.

The 17-track album features both veterans and young cats from Ghana and beyond. This includes Samini, Nana Yaa, Kelvyn boy, Yaa Pono Akwaboah, Adina, and of course Kwesi Arthur. The song “Soldier” features a young fascinating emcee from Kumasi, King Paluta. Mr Eazi, Dr Sid and Krayon from Nigeria also do their thing. During the listening session, he made mention that he wouldn’t have released the project if it didn’t feature his blood brothers, Okyeame Kwame and Kunta Kinte.

Middle two, L-R: denswag of Tubhani Muzik, KC Beatz

The album embodies two nwomkro (traditional Akan live music) skits and a bonus song. The sonic quality of “Gifted II” was driven by Tubhani Muzik, KC Beatz, and a host of others such as AFRIMA award winner Guiltybeatz, B2, Dr Ray, etc.

The second installment of “Gifted” series will be out for pre-order soon. Expect the online mouthpiece for Flowking Stone, SteezeHub.com to deliver you exclusive updates. On 23 December, Flowking launches the album during his annual concert dubbed “Oseikrom Shutdown” at Kumasi City Mall.
