With Fuse ODG preparing to release his sophomore album, he readies to drop the first single off it, titled “Bra Fie.” This single features Jamaican recording artiste, Damian Marley.
“Bra Fie” is a Twi statement which translates to English as ‘come home.’ The song sees Fuse preaching to the Ghanaians and other Africans in the diaspora to find their roots again and use the knowledge and capital accumulated to building the continent in their return back home.
He chose Damian because he believes the “Welcome to Jamrock” hitmaker represents a voice for a group of people who are Africans by blood but don’t accept it. The son of the great legend, Bob Marley has also been on a mission to educate the public about African history, hence he’s a great fit for the message the song carries.
Off Da Ground Records shall release the video and audio to this thought-provoking record on Friday, November 2. Keep your eyes on SteezeHub.com for more information about this single and the upcoming album.
