December Steeze: Frederick Marioking – Wogyegye Me (Ft. Ray Joe & Po Mulla) (Prod. by Ray Joe)

Frederick Marioking is a Hip-hop/RnB/Afro pop recording artiste who hails from Ejisu – Besease in the Ashanti region currently residing at the specified location. He started professional audio recording back in 2015 at the age of 24. The musician has a mixtape titled “Mixed Feelings I” to his credit. Marioking aims to create an infectious sound that can compete on any chart anywhere in the world.

“Wogyegye Me” is an afropop song about a guy with a supposed girlfriend whose only role in their relationship is to take anything she needs from the man without giving nothing back. Her selfish attitude doesn’t go unnoticed as the man who’s currently fed up with the whole situation tends to voice out his concern out of frustration. The song basically approaches the situation at hand from the man’s angle of view. The song was produced by Ray Joe and co-produced by Marioking himself.

December Steeze: Sika Pelli – True Love (Prod. by Apya)

Sika Pelli D’Highlifa is a Ghanaian highlife artiste based in Adoata in Kumasi. He is a guitarist and pianist with a portfolio of 4 solid projects. He has worked with lot of sound engineers and other creatives. When it comes to Highlife, the Junior Lumba is the right deal. The song “True Love” talks about how this man was in love with a lady but the lady doesn’t feel same about him because she has been broken hearted before and doesn’t want to enter into any relationship again. But after a while she consented w and found true love in him. The mid-tempo Highlife tune was produced by Apya. Junior Lumba as his peers refer him did a great work on this piece.



Steeze Hub Presents “December Steeze”, A Competition to Promote Kumasi-Based Artistes

December is here, and Steeze Hub has a lot of goodies for both musicians and our audience. December Steeze happens to be one of them. The initiative is aimed at promoting artistes based in Kumasi. Kumasi, because the founder of Steeze Hub, Joseph Aqweci Ofori hails from Kumasi and currently resides there. Hence his decision to start with his own city. However, subsequent similar initiatives will be targeted across Ghana.

As at now, 4 songs have been selected to enter into a competition of gaining views. From 14th December to 28th December, the song with the highest number of views/hits/clicks becomes the winner which will be announced on 29th December, 2017.

The winner earns a one-week free social media promo, including the pacakges, WhatsApp link sharing (to about 100 groups), Facebook and Instagram sponsored boost for a week, Twitter publicity, sharing of the link each day on the various platforms, and many more.
