Flowking Stone needs no introduction. From the days of Bradez to been a solo artiste, Flowking Stone has been prominent in the music scene. When Bradez were ushered into the game by their senior brother Okyeame Kwame, they were doing the then Hiplife genre. I loved “One Gallon” to bits. Then what we called ‘GH Crunk’ came into the scene, introduced by Asem.
Bradez adapted to it so easily as though they were actually meant to do that genre. Just when we were expecting them to do more from that genre they gave us the everlasting classic, “Simple.” After one half of the duo, Kunta Kinte got diseased, Stone had to keep the legacy alive. He would release a song each month, starting with “Stronger” which featured Luta (then Luther) and Ryan Korsah.
The rate at which he does all of them well is so magical to even choose what he’s better at.

Rap Flowking Stone: I’d wish to witness Stone pen down and record his verses. I wonder the zone he gets in to do that. For a rapper to put all the elements of the art into a verse is brilliant. Even when he’s rapping about the most common thing you realize the emcee is at his peak in lyricism.
He doesn’t force his punchlines; they’re subtle as they can be. He puts realness in his voice and verses that enhances the picturesque ability of your mind’s eye. The clarity in his message shows he’s a good communicator. If I’m to mention an example of a good communicator I’d definitely say without fear of taking my words back, Flowking Stone.
The emcee shall be releasing his next single “Blow My Mind” which features Akwaboah within the week. Also let’s warm up for the 2nd edition of his Oseikrom Shutdown Concert.
So we ask, inasmuch as it’s hard to tell, which do you prefer? Rap Flowking Stone or Afropop Flowking Stone? Let us know in the comments section.
